GORDON and ALBERTA
Dad
9-27-1917 to 8-15-1975
He taught us how to laugh, we are at our best when we can laugh at ourselves.
Being in tune with himself and accepting his own funny flaws.
He taught me to close my eyes and understand to hear with my heart.
Thanks dad, I am so glad you are mine......mb
Mom
11-17- 1924 to 9-27-1991
She promised what she knew, then delivered more than she promised.
She taught me to be myself when I did not know who that was anymore...
How to live each day gratefully second by second...
Your most important life teacher may not "look" or be perfect, but you may learn perfect lessons from them. Thank you mom for being my life teacher.........mb

SURPRISE!!
Well, most of you already know the story, but I felt it was blog worthy so here goes! I was scheduled to have a complete hysterectomy on July 1st. I have been having a lot of hormonal problems especially lately and a lot of endometrial pain. I suffer from Poly cystic ovarian syndrome and endometriosis. So my doctor decided that I have birthed 2 healthy children and it was time for me to get healthy. So we scheduled the surgery and I went in, reluctant and scared. So, they brought me back and had me pee in a cup, for routine tests. Then I went in and changed into my gown and got my pre-op blood drawn. The nurse came in and asked me if I was on any hormones. I told her no, then she said "Are you sure your not on any hormones that would cause a positive pregnancy test"? My jaw hit the floor and I said...noooo! So she said they would have the lab do a blood test. So the blood test came back positive, and if anyone has ever had to "try" to get pregnant they know that hgc levels start at 1 and double every 30.9 to 72 hours. My level was at 33,000 roughly so that shows its not a fresh pregnancy and that its a sticky bean! So, who goes in for a hysterectomy and comes out expecting a child you ask...well the one person in the family that does everything BASS AKWARDS!! ME!! We are ecstatic! Now, just to hold of these symptoms so I can spend more time at home than in the hospital dehydrated! Thanks for letting us share our story, love to all!
